(James) Larry Gibson has come full circle and returns to his music roots as a solo Chrsitian recording artist. He is working on several new projects including a project featuring classic hymns he grew up singing in church.
Larry traveled with his family group, The Gibsons, and penned the group's signature song, "Reaching Through the Thorns." He left the music industry to focus on family and ministry in the local church. During those years he served in many ministry capacities involving music, drama, and youth including a stint as a writer/contributor for Word Aflame's Sunday School Youth Curriculum, a publication of the United Pentecostal Church International.
After years of ministering to youth and young adults, Larry has come full circle and returned to the passion of his youth: music. He is building a home recording studio and working on several music projects including a collection of timeless hymns and a remake of some of his best songs from the early years. The collection of hymns will be his first commercially released project since leaving the music industry more than 25 years ago.
