I've been a DJ for 4 years mixing a little bit of everything until recently. I think I've found my calling... House, techno, trance and breakbeat.
Not as much as I would like to, but I get around.
The influences span greatly. I grew up on old pop like elvis, the beatles, etc. And as I got older I started enjoying the sounds of the beastie boys, metallica, motley crew and of course great eighties pop and rock. Once I hit my late teens hip hop and r&b became my flavor. Such as sir mix-a-lot, run dmc, nughty by nature. Then I strayed and got into the more thuggish hip hop like 2pac, dr dre, snoop dogg, wu-tang clan and such. But once I hit the club scene hard in my early 20's I found that dance music was universal. The sounds of amber, dj icey, baby anne, george acosta, and many others became my final frontier if you will. I dabbled a bit into trance and acid jazz, but it didn't stick. But I count nothing out. All music inspires me to create. Good or bad. I find what I want out of it all.
Computer, synth's, cd decks, turntables, basically whatever I can get my hands on to mix with. I'm versatile.
I have recently got on board with Club Net Radio (CNR) on the internet. I am one of about 8 resident DJ's for this internet radio station. Check us out... great dance radio station!
