My day I'm a therapist and horse trainer, by night, alto mankiller. I have been singing for a good chunk of my life and love it. I sang previously for an a capella baroque group for some time, which really educated me on tight harmonies, timing, and immaculate rhythm. I then went on to sing in a classical choir, and later a womens choir.
I made a big jump at some point into the live band realm. In Chicago I sang with Twister (later to become BAD GIRL) with some great musicians who did original music. Later I stepped into a live band called "Papparazzi" for some time who did blues/rock covers.
Everything on this website is LIVE, and un edited. The live band things on here were from the first shows I did live with these bands, so yes, not everything may be as clean as usual. Never really put the time into doing a studio recording, maybe sometime in the future!
Looking now for a live band in Wilmington that will feed my need for music. Looking for professional people who want to rock, who can learn music on their own and have some fun!!
I've been singing all through school and loving it. I used to sing classical a capella baroque music and then onto classical choir music. I sang previously for a hard rock band in Chicago(BAD GIRL) and a top 40s band (Papparazzi), both which are featured on here. All of the recordings are LIVE
I have sang in the past with madrigal groups, show choirs, classical opera groups, womens and mixed choirs.
I also have done musical theater and solo events.
I sang with BAD GIRL of Rock Island IL, they were hard rock, metal. Papparazzi was a lighter top 40's band.
I've got tons of influences (just like every other musician out there) but my biggest influence has been Monique Powell from Save Ferris. She's got a strength to her voice unmatched by no other and knows how to play with the tone of her voice. Other influences are Aretha Franklin, Madonna, Alanis Morisette, No Doubt, Aerosmith, and many many others..
Wireless shure!
