Quarters Only is an energetic 6 piece from South of Chicago. The band consist of 3 guys and 3 girls with a RocK Ska feel. Lead by female vocals and planning the release of a new album titled, "Infectious"
Quarters Only started when Mike and Julie Sherry, a brother/sister duo, began writing Ska songs together on their guitar and bass in their down time and wanted to do something with the material. So they both started to look for a singer. They soon came across Jessica Steffes, a talented vocalist from the south suburbs. They then invited a drummer and began writing the first QO songs in the Summer of 1999. After a little while they were in the market for another drummer, so they then turned to a guitarist/percussionist, Jared Steffes. About a year later, Jared really wanted to play guitar...so then the search was out, again, for another drummer. Jeff Jedlowski, a punk/rock influenced drummer also form the south suburbs, was right around the corner and joined QO. Jared then brought his guitar playing skills up front, giving a more edgy, fuller sound to QO. But something was still missing. Enter Shannon Osborne, a keyboardist also form the south suburbs. Thus forming an energetic sound with an energetic stage show. With their first CD, "Something To Rock About", and a new full length in the works, "Infectious",you'lll definitely see us near you soon. Quarters Only has played all around the Illinois area and surrounding states.
