You may recognize the name "Josh Keener” from the Country Music Scene a few years back. Originally signed with Broken Bow Records, Josh toured the United States with several recording artists of the same label, opening for artists such as Collin Raye, Brian White and The Marcy Brothers. The Broken Bow label is known for great Country Music performers including Craig Morgan, “That’s What I Love About Sunday’s” and “Almost Home” as well as Jason Aldean “Why Do I Do This To You.”
Less than a year from the projected date of the release of his debut album, for reasons deeply personal to Josh, he chose to forsake Nashville and return to his roots. Today, Josh Keener is back and ready to take on Nashville one more time! With a sound that is truly all his own, Josh puts his heart and soul into every song he performs.

This is where I am supposed to list the great artists who have influenced me and my musical style throughout my life. Though I would love to say those things, they would not be the truth. I grew up in a musical family. My grandparents and my father are all accomplished musicians and songwriters in their own right. I learned to play from their teaching; I learned to perform through "trial and error." I always knew that this was what I was meant to do and have spent my entire life polishing my skills as a musician and stage performer. You can "learn" the mechanics; the rest has to be a God-given talent or it's not real. Performing either comes natural, or it doesn't come at all. I have never patterned myself after another artist. I am just me, Josh Keener, and I do what comes naturally....
