peaked at #6 in the PowerSource Magazine top 20 Inspirational Country music charts and stayed in the top 40 for an entire year. It is a particular honor to have been in the good company of some other fantastic artists like Joe Nichols and Jamie O'Neal as well as many others.
Many, many thanks to Inspirational Country radio for sharing the message of with their audience - and an endless debt of gratitude to you who have supported me with your favorable response to their programming.
My love to you who have made my cause your own. May we never take for granted the struggles of our friends and neighbors who suffer secretly in a life of domestic abuse
Thanks to everyone who continues to play, purchase, download, and tell their friends about my songs. You fuel the fire that is Independent Music! A special thanks to Internet DJ's all over the world for sharing all my songs with their listeners and supporting all of us "Indies". You guys ROCK!
is still available in its various media forms and I am thankful for its continued success. We have also added a store to the web site where you can pick up merchandise that compliments track two a song that we added to the project by overwhelming demand of the fans. It's called "With My Clothes On" and yes, it has every bit as much attitude as the name implies. But I'm not gonna try to explain it or defend it. You just have to check it out!
"... Beth's country music pedigree is evident in her lyrics and style. Her folks were both musicians in their own right and let her cut her teeth on tunes written by Hall of Fame hero's like Harlan Howard and made famous by Country Music legends like Buck Owens, Loretta Lynn, and Conway Twitty (just to name a few). With her smooth delivery and love of harmony, Beth will not disappoint fans of traditional country - and will surprise contemporary fans with her affinity for up tempo, unpretentious lyrics."
So sit back and enjoy "Beth's Music"!
I've been singing ever since I can remember. As a kid, I sang on local radio broadcasts from a summer camp back home - Camp Nathanael, and basically anywhere else where there was an audience. I found my first real "group" as soon as I was old enough to hang out in honky tonks, taverns, and the usual haunts where you'll find a good live band. Somewhere, out there, Randall Cantrell is blowing a saxophone and tickling the ivories, and he deserves a lot of credit for peeling some of the layers back. Randall... call me, dude! You can read more about my life on my website at www.bethsmusic.com.
I play private events, though I have played my share of house gigs and traveled a long way for little money. From a large crowd of 1,500 in Palm Springs, California to a small room of 15 in La Grange, Kentucky - the trill of connecting with people is what drives me.
I've met some phenomenally talented artists from many genres and had the privilege to play with a few of them. I like to think that brief moments when you cross paths with truly gifted people leave a fingerprint on your own artistry. If your hear something familiar - perhaps there's an explanation and even a funny story behind that note of familiarity.
Gibson flat top.
Thanks for listening to my music. If you enjoyed it, please make sure to drop me a line!
