Capital Punishment Records has come on to the Hip Hop & Reggaeton scene to be noticed and heard. Developing and nurturing artists from urban America is the key to the success of one of the most talked about upstart labels in the industry today. We strive to make music that is true to the streets, and which reflects the true feelings and experiences of our artists.
Our Motto is: Keeping It Real To The Fullest!
Capital Punishment Records wants to use music as a platform to bring attention to a problem that is affecting our nation. The problem that we are referring to is the neglect by our society and justice system to help our under-priviledged children from urban America succeed in life. Everyday there are children going to bed hungry, everyday children are being abused and neglected across our nation. Our society turns their back on these poor children, and when they do turn their attention to them it is too late.
Education programs are often cut and schools have to deal with shortages of staff and materials in these underpriviledged neighborhoods. Music programs seen as non-important are eliminated, and these children are then forced to do other things to stay busy, many times leading them to crime. Many of these children grow up to be the felons of tomorrow, and when our justice system gives them attention it is usually to put them in prison and serve a sentence of "Capital Punishment".
Capital Punishment Records is proud to do it's part and seek out talent from urban America. Talent that otherwise would not be noticed because they don't have the money to dress or obtain "The Look" that according to record industry moguls they must have to be marketable.
Capital Punishment Records is proud to be the home to up-coming underground artists such as "Phael", "Lady", and "MC Puppet" and it is paving the way as to how it's really done when it comes to producing great artists and music.
CEO Roberto Clemente sees to it that every act on his label is comfortable and confident in all they do, making the process of becoming true professionals as easy as possible.
Capital Punishment Records is, and will be a formitable force to be reckoned with in the music industry, so watch out!
