Ricky Parish is considered one of the fastest rising stars on the Blues Scene. He has recorded two albums including the most recent "Another Card In The Hat" which includes his first hit,"Hey Man". Debuting in Europe at The Cannes Music Festival in January 2009. The song features Ricky's Homage to one of his Idols Albert Collins. Ricky has played alongside some of the great Blues Legends, including a two year period where he was a featured guitarist touring with John Lee Hooker. He was brought up on Jazz and Blues. Listening to such greats as Dizzy Gillespie and Dave Brubek, and of coarse John Lee Hooker. He combines Texas and Chicago Styles Blues with a hint of West Coast Swing. Ricky loves Jimi Hendrix. "His Playing touches the Soul!" says Ricky, who gives Hendrix credit for inspiring him to play the electric guitar. Many compare Ricky's playing style to that of Hendrix. Raw and heartfelt! He is sure to reach the heights of Blues Legend.
