Day44 evolved as a result of founding member Robert Lee Whitefield desire to put together a band that would be willing to explore sonic dimensions through improvisation and abstract audio meanderings. Even more, RW wanted to ground the group in a blues and "classic rock" foundation so that there would be a solid fundamental basis for their departures to "other" musical planes. The result is DAY44 Music.
Band/artist history
Formerly called The Whitefield's Band and featured artists at some of the most prestigious music conferences in the country, The Whitefield's have been moving toward new directions in their music over the past two years. Heading towards a progressive mix of blues based psychedelic techno rock. The result was Day44music.
