Balthazar
Balthazar Trash Metal. Balthazar was formed during fall 2003. Hailing from the west of Holland as a 6-piece metalcore formation, they started writing music mainly influenced by All Out War, Arkangel, Liar and Congress. The combination of heavely metal influenced drums (Stefan), destructive mosh bass (Martin), brutal metal guitars (Wouter and Wieger) and two very different vocalists (Richard and Jeroen) was very distinct as Balthazar.
During summer 2005 Richard decided to leave the band. They decided to go on with just one singer. As new songs were written their style evolved from metalcore to a mix of trash/death metal and mosh. More influenced by metal acts like The Haunted, At the gates, Hatesphere, Maroon and The Black dahlia murder.
With around 30 live shows up their sleeves right now, they have evolved to quite a recognizable energetic live act. They really try to connect to the audience.Your musical influences
