ballOOnhead
ballOOnhead is a One-Man-Band creating songs out of feelings. This leads to soft-rock-ballads and New Age-Ambient Tracks and even to Techno-Trance and Classical Themes. There are only few genres not implemented in the variety of songs.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
after several musical experiences with the piano and small organs from the late 70s to the early 80s i went to make computer-music with the C64, Amiga, PC. During these days until the year 2000 i wrote far over 200 songs for my own pleasure in form of MOD, MED or liveplayed Synthesizer. For the Metalband "Decision to Hate" i wrote an introduction for Live performance. On the newly released CD "Prepare for Self-Destruction" from "Decision to Hate" the Prologue and Epilogue have been written by me. Infos http://decisiontohate.com
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
No i don't play live because that would be impossible for most of my songs. On the other hand i have no doubt that i'm not good enough for liveplay even if i did 2-3 performances alone and with other musicans.
Your musical influences
jean michel jarre, vangelis, tangerine dream, software, ravel, debussy, tschaikowsky, acdc, Destruction, Slayer, Bjorn Lynne, Chris Hülsbeck. You just can't put me into one genre.
What equipment do you use?
1 Classical Guitar, 1 Western Guitar, 1 Electric Guitar, Roland D-5 Analog Synthesizer, Radium Midikeyboard, Several Softwaresynths and Soundfonts.
Anything else?
you can't put the project ballOOnhead into one genre. too many influences from very different styles. On the other hand mostly experimental :)
