Bainzy
Demo using just the strat (stock) and the Marshall. Speaker is a '73 Celestion G12M.
Very very very rough preview of a new song in development for my next album. It's just some ideas thrown together on the multitrack really so I don't forget them.
New microphone test. Acoustic guitar only has 5 strings and the wound G is starting to unwind, lol. I quite like this riff, I think I'll use it in a full song.
Just a new song idea. Sounds a bit like something Pete Townshend might do.
Sloppy, rushed take on Eruption to mess about with the phaser pedal a bit. Doesn't sound right as there's no power tube distortion, and I haven't learnt it properly, but theres some cool reverb sounds that are close to the original.
New song idea I decided to record so I wouldn't forget it. Recording jumps a bit, I'll sort that out when I record it properly.
Just guitar on this one at the moment. The double tracking is a bit off but it still sounds cool.
Experiment to see how my Plexi handles the Van Halen 1 tone. Cool song to jam to, but it gets a bit repetetive in bits (hence the fluff notes!).
This Dokken clip was done using my Plexi with my extra gain stage mod engaged - check out the guitar tone on this sucker.
Bainzy on his custom guitar - Marshall 100w Plexi - Angled 4x12 cab - SM57 - tube mic preamp
Here's a clip of the analog delay pedal I built, it's in the effects loop of the plexi.
Just something a bit more original, all guitars and drums by Bainzy. Drums could sound a lot better but I'm not bothered enough to EQ them and mix again.
little sample we did at a late recording session around midnight. check out Gurb's hilarious wail on the last vocal line, damn that guys funny
Inspired by the game 'Batman' on the Sega Megadrive. I'm not really happy with the way this turned out (the drums seem to stop in a wierd way) so I'll re-record it soon.
Gurb played clean guitar backing and bass, Bainzy played all distorted guitar. Sorry about the bass that's too loud at the beginning, I accidentally left the slider too high when mixing down quickly, I'll mix it properly when I've got time.
check out the 2nd solo by Gurb - mind blowingly awesome. this is the first EVER track we recorded, Gurbs playing guitar and singing, Bainzy recording/mixing.
kindof bluesy riff in E. recorded with little gurbs 15 watt marshall and a PC microphone
