Bad Science
Bad Science is hip hop in its broadest sense, mixing up straight-up head nod beats with live funk, jazz and reggae to create a unique organic vibe. Conscious lyricism (and the odd trip to the decks) from MC Dizraeli, Guitar by Jer Levitsky, Bass and cuts by Alex Crane and drums and percussion by Tom Keeling.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Best moments are supports for Lewis Parker, Aim and Nightmares on Wax, and our own self-promoted residency at the Pressure Point in Brighton. More recently we've played support for Fingathing (Grand Central), and dates in London, Chester, Bristol, Cambridge, The Shambala Festival nr Plymouth, Stratford and a few other places. Look out for more dates this summer, including:
19th June, Orange Rooms, Southampton
22nd June, Kings College Summer Ball, Cambridge
Mid-August, Shambala Festival
Plus look out for a mini-tour alongside Ska band The Scrub in late August/early Sept.
Your musical influences

The tracks on here were recorded on a Pro Tools system with lots of other nice expensive toys. Big thanks to Nick the engineer at Ascape Suite

Anything else?
Beatsmuggling appeared on the cover CD of last June's Future Music magazine. The accompanying review described it as "a high quality demo...all of these guys can obviously play their instruments and understand the concept of arrangements...a refreshing change..."
The track has now also been selected by FM for inclusion on this July's "best of..." unsigned music DVD, so we think they liked it!
