Badia is a woman called by GOD to deliver the gospel message of salvation to the world. More than just proclaiming, she lives a lifestyle pleasing to the Lord striving to set an example of a Godly woman to a culture dying from lack of Godly knowledge. She comes to present the Light of Jesus Christ, not only through God inspired lyrics and phenomenal sound, but through practical living. She is a wife and mother of three and constantly being prepared and processed by God to be the vessel that God chooses. Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Badia was called to the ministry of rap in 2000, although she started writing lyrics at 15 when she was heavily influenced by various secular hip hop pioneers. She released her first solo album entitled "God's Woman" in 2003. Her producer at the time, Kevin Arthur worked with her and introduced the relationship that she has with the individuals and affliates of the renown international group "The Cross Movement". The album features artists such as, Da' Truth, Phanatik, T.R.U.L.I.F.E., R. Swift, Ericka Arthur, Tasha Montfort and Common's DJ, DJ Dummy. She has had the privilege of working with Tony Moore and Jehovah's Chosen and Michelle Bonilla as well. At this time she is in the process of the final recording stages of the upcoming project entitled "FREE 2 B". She is working with various producers on this album and exhibiting some fresh up and coming artists as well as a few of your Christian hip hop favorites. Keep ya eyes peeled and don't sleep on this one people! If you want to hear quality music from not just another female Christian emcee, then he or she that has an ear to hear.....stay tuned!
