Bad Hawaiian Shirts
Remembering Fernando Remembering Fernando
Pseudo classical piece played on an Epiphone LP100 through a Crate FX65 with reverb and some phasing.
Chinese Revolution Chinese Revolution
Yamaha Synth played through a Crate amp with added effect, accoustic rhythm added with electric lead guitar
Sunday Sunday
Simple synth and guitar piece, I think it feels like Sunday so that's what I called it.
All the way down Pt1 All the way down Pt1
I got the accoustic riff stuck in my head and I have been trying to make a song of it ever since. This is part 1, hope to have aloud shouty version of it soon.
Orpheus Rising Orpheus Rising
This is an instrumental experiment using a Yamaha MM6 synth. I laid down the drum track and basic background on one track and then then recorded a synth 'lead' part on a second track. Both the bass and guitar parts are played with a lot of wah.
Running Running
Soft Rock demo - This is the first peice of music I recorded. The rhythm and lead guitar parts are both played on a cheap Yamaha strat copy. It was recorded on a Fostex digital 8 track in my un-finished basement.
Science of Things Science of Things
Early this year I had to move out of the basement because of construction work. This meant that I had to pack the drums away and resort to synth. The backing track and drums are played on a Yamaha MM6 synth.
Wild Horses Wild Horses
I am not really any good on the keyboard but I think that this works OK the piano part and the additional strings are all played on a Yamaha MM6 synth played through a Peavey keyboard amp. The guitar on top is a Epiphone LP100.
The Miracle of Synth The Miracle of Synth
Synth/Guitar demo - As the title says 'The miracle of synth'! I put this together when I first got the Yamaha MM6. The back ground storm, the footsteps and the door slamming are all played on the synth.
The Sorcerers Apprentice The Sorcerers Apprentice
This is really just a demo, but I love the riff. Its played on the Yamaha MM6. The guitar is just pure adlib.
Indian Summer Indian Summer
Instrumental Rock demo - This is recorded in the basement again. I dont really like the sound of the drums or the intro, but I was trying to get some interesting percussion effects with the cow bells and tamborine.
Jacky's Song Jacky's Song
Instrumental rock - This was my wife's favourite, but I over played it so now she is sick of hearing it. The rhythm guitar is played on a cheap Rogue accustic, the lead on a cheap Yamaha strat copy. The strings are added with a Yamaha MM6 synth.
