Bad Dog No Biscuit is a Funk,Jazz,& latin group Lead by Singer Guitarist Steve Di Laudo. This bands primary purpose is to make Latin/Funk more accessable to all ages of the American audience. Preserve musicianship and keep the crowd dancing all nite.
Band/artist history
Steve Di Laudo toured Europe in the 90s playing alternative rock with a band called Creep. He also drew media attention with television and radio interviews on Bulgarian and Serbian networks. In 1998 Steve formed a Funk/Jazz/Rock project called Bad Dog No Biscuit. The impetus for the project was to expose young people to compelling music that would revive interest and appreciation in the form and content of such legendary artists as Al Green, Otis Redding, Santana, and Jimi Hendrix. Steve has financed and released two albums under his own label, Badog records. The albums have sold several hundred copies via the internet in the U.S., Europe, and South America. In 2002, Bad Dog No Biscuit appeared in episode #44 of Showtimes Resurrection Blvd., performing their salsa hit, Como Baila el Perro. Steve was also a featured co-star with Paul Rodriguez and Elizabeth Pena in the same episode. The band has licensed songs for the soundtracks on episodes 32, 44, 48 and most recently episode 6 on the soon to be released DVD of season one. Steve is currently involved in writing new Latin/Funk songs that include both Spanish and English lyrical contact to make the world of Latin music more accessible to the American audience. With proper promotion and marketing, Steve is convinced his music will easily reach platinum status. He continues to play and preserve his musicianship, which in todays market, seems to be slowly fading.
