Backseat Pilot is the foot tapping, dancing, rocking out, thinking man's music. It's the music that resonates with anybody and everybody, while still maintaining its distance for those who truly sit down and have a chat with it.
It's the pet (toddler!) project of singer/songwriter Andrew Tysinger and his band of singing, dancing musicians, who all bring varying degrees of brilliance to the table, from all around. The band members, who hail from Kyoto, Japan, San Francisco, California, Seattle, Washington, and Boston, Massachusetts, have vast influences, including (and definitely not limited to) John Mayer, Death Cab for Cutie, Incubus, Bobby McFerrin, Phish, John Brown's Body, Guster, all the way to Imogen Heap and Damien Rice.
