Hi, we're Baby Calendar. Nice to meet you.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
We started out as a duo with an acoustic guitar, a keyboard, and a tambourine. We followed our hearts and made an album that we think is great ('Your Move'). But we knew we could do more, we knew we could take it further. So, in late 2004, we brought our friend Arik in on drums and Jackie picked up the bass. We started writing new songs for an album we plan to put out summer 2005.
We will start introducing the new songs throughout 2005 at our live shows along with reworked songs from our first album that now rock even harder with drums and bass. As a trio, our live shows have more energy and are a lot more fun for us- which translates to the audience.
The mixture of our personalities and songwriting preferences has created something that we love; and although some of our influences may show through in some of our songs, we truly believe that we have created our own distinct sound.
