Baby Ace

A Warrior's heart can only be measured by the blood that is pumped into it. In this case Baby Ace , is no stranger to heart as his blood defines character and endurance in more ways than one, Dayron Tapanes , born, in cuba , september 1, 1990 , Baby Ace relocated to the rough, gritty streets of the hialeah ,florida in 2000 Flabbergasted and Staggered by the immense culture shock, Ace could not hide his heavy Spanish accent as he struggled to learn the English language. He decided to express his emotions through arts and began composing poems about his life and the everyday struggle that surrounded him. Baby Ace began perfecting his talent for poems and won a couple of prestigious awards at various talent shows and poem readings. But it wasn..t until the age of twelve that Tony took his poetic justice to another plateau as he became fascinated with the discernment of Hip-Hop. Admiring early pioneers such as Rakim, KRS-One, and Public Enemy, Baby Ace found a musical outlet to not just his poems but to his life. Observant to the hustlers in his neighborhood and the poverty he lived in, Baby Ace put his pain into words and words into music as he wrote his first rap song at the age of twelve. dayron eventually grew with time and music and began to expose his talent by performing at various open mics in the local area which earned him respectable nods by hip-hop fans and his friends alike. Due to his explicit lyrics and raw delivery, He adopted the name, ..Tony Armas.. because his rhymes were verbal movies of graphic visuals he painted with his words. By the time he was 15,Baby Ace had a promising career in front of him that was abruptly put on hold due to a family loss that left him without inspiration. In late 2004, new inspiration and a new man took shape as Ace exploded on the underground music scene with a new company and a new style. He decided to put pain back into his inspiration for music and become the artist he was destined to be. Focused on his goals and aspirations Tony emerged from his morbid sleep and promised himself to continue this warrior..s journey. Survival is nothing without a warrior..s heart and Baby Ace story proves that life and dreams are simply survival of the fittest..
