B-1aka Midwest Messiah

Timothy J. Boney was born on January 24, 1984 to Father James Bonen & Jackie Gail Web Boney(RIP). His Father was an all around musician on the piano and organ while his older brother Dante played the drums and saxophone. Years growing up music was everywhere he would go whether it's church, the corner store or even the playground. As time went on Tim would find himself writing lyrics in note pads that he kept, but he never really thought nothing to serious about it. One day he along with his friends were in the mall where he spotted the Dr. Dre's the Chronic 2000 instrumental, so he took it home and started to wite to it. One of his friends had a boom box where if you press record and talk in the speaker, it would record your voice. Tim and his crew would record many songs but only played them for family and friends. In 2002 Tim graduated from high school and enlisted in the United States Navy. In 2003 He marries Jameka Gardner who is also passionate about music. From 2004 til 2005 Tim finds himself writing again so he purchase a laptop and various music programs and started to make beats. In 2006 while in the Navy he deploys for 6 months to the horn of Africa where on his free time he would make beats and write with others. Finally the people he was working with invested in a computer mic and they started to record themselves to see how they sound. While on the ship Tim came up with the ideal of making a song that the ship can play to help motivate people to clean. So he brought his ideal to a friend and within minutes we had "The Cleaning Station" song. Throughout the deployment the song played everyday and even the captain, officers and even the crew enjoyed it. Since returning home from deployment Tim has been working with his wife and has invented the moniker B-One aka Midwest Messiah. " I believe with hip hop being started on the East and then the West talking over, and the emerge of the south, I strongly believe i can help start a Midwest movement that will give the Midwest respect like the other Coast.
