Azathoth is a two person band containing a session member which provides work on the clarinet and or sometimes recorder. Most work is inspired by the works of Akira Yamaoka and most Funeral Doom metal. Azathoth will release more albums until both band members feel that they don't feel like continuing any longer.Band/artist history

Fall of the Grey-Winged One, Gorguts, Necrophagist, Mordor, Shape of Despair, Intestine Baalism, and Akira Yamaoka. However, they maybe our influences, but we don't sound like any of them.What equipment do you use?

The album was named Xuchilbara as a tribute to both a friend who played a large part in re inspiring my musical endeavors and Silent hill 2 which inspired a lot of my earlier work. Xuchil (Xochitl in Aztec) meaning flower and the Japanese word bara (bah-rah) meaning 'rose' is an item the listener takes with them on their journey in my new album.Contact
