Your music is amazing in so many different ways. People say Doom metal takes you into so many different emotions and atmospheres, but the soundscapes that are created hear is like a pure malestrom of suffering and horror. All instrumentation is clear, yet the sound is blended into a distorted sound, which creates that brilliant sound you have. I especially love the vocals. They create an almost attack like force, especially with different effects going on after eachother.
Very technical and original. Can only be labelled as extreme metal, for it conforms to no established sub-genre, and strives to create a unique sound, which is what I would love to see more of these days.
Like grosslee posted, I highly recommend this band to people.

Excellent stuff. 'Physical Illucinations...' is one of the best black metal records I've heard in ages; and the fact that it's blatant Silent Hill worship makes it all the more fantastic. Don't ever stop.

I've already expressed my appreciation to the band themselves, but if anyone passing through wants to know, AOP is one of the most amazing bands I've ever heard; within hours of getting their debut in the mail they had become top on my playlist, and now everywhere I go I'm bothering my friends to listen to them. Their creativity and maturity brings their substance out like nothing I've ever heard (or experienced!) before. The music has no guidelines set by traditional metal standards, leaving it purely original. I'm another fan very eager to get my hands on the upcoming materials!

I read something about Axis of Perdition in a magazine. I can't remember if it was Terrorizer or Metal Maniacs... oh well. I'm listening to Reflections of the Underdark right now and the first impression I got was a mix of newer Emperor (Prometheus), Satyricon (Rebel Extravaganza), and some of Arcturus' stuff. Now, I love those three bands so you could say that my first impression was a good one. You all have a really strange atmosphere. There are always about 15 things hitting my ears at once. On to Where the World Becomes Flesh... I think I hear a little bit of Zyklon on this one. Mostly from their World ov Worms release. I'm hearing some newer Mayhem (Chimera) as well. The drums and some of the guitar riffs on this song almost give me an Ibex Throne feel. I'm not listing all of these bands to say that you are copying them or anything... you all have a VERY unique sound. It's a confusing sound... so I'm using those bands to try to fuse together a decent comment about you. To sum ever
