I like this more and more every time I listen to it. Proud to have it as the theme music in my app. Really clever lyrics and the chord progression is a little nuts too! Sounds like a simple tune, but it's not really.

Very good composition. Loved the chord progressions. The recording sounded very clear with all instruments at the right level. I like the style of having a prelude a la Styx. This song definitely has that Styx vibe to it but also reminded me of Uriah Heap and Wishbone Ash. Well done, I liked this a lot! Stuart Allan

Good stuff! I think the vocals came out nicely and the drums sounds really good. I also like the electric guitar thrown in the middle, gives it an edgy feel. Overall, the studio quality sounds really nice, makes for a good listen Keep on rockin

This review was so cool, I could not resist posting the whole thing: http://board.soundclick.com/viewtopic.php?p=2605050#2605050 Avmo Diabolosin The guitar is such a popular and versatile instrument. Interesting how everyone who picks one up and gets good at it eventually braches off into their own way of doing things. As if the muscles in our hands, the folds in the cerebral cortex, are as unique as fingerprints and the music comes out that way. Sometimes it’s easy to draw comparisons and see the resemblance between the playing styles of similarly minded musicians, but with a closer look you’ll notice all the differences, with attention you notice just how big the differences are and the uniqueness comes through. At so many points in this piece the lines are fluid where the notes melt together and string along with an effortless flow. The range of notes from highest to lowest within a single phrase really adds interest. The playing is impressive, I imagine the action on h

Thanks, Morris, for your comment on "Gist of our Times." I agree, it's an odd tune; glad you liked it. Listened to a few of your tracks; you're an excellent guitar player! Cool stuff.

From Thrill Me, Wow Me reviews: http://board.soundclick.com/posting.php?mode=quote&p=2588546 Morris, you are an outstanding guitar player! Wonderful sounds here, great solo parts. Like the slower parts indicated by the acoustic guitar, too! Evolving back into the groove. Very very well played. Okay, your playing does WOW and THRILL me without a doubt. Now some other remarks. I think you panned your tune quite extremely. Reminds me of late 60s Beatles. They used to experiment with settings all left and all right. Today this appears rather strange, exactly when you know most listeners are using cans today. So you might give it a thougt. Okay: Rhythm group. I understand that being a guitarist you want the guitar parts to really stick out, and they do. But what happens here is that drums and bass kind of get lost in the mix, there´s not enough punch and tightness and maybe volume! At least the drums should be more....organized! Mix: I guess concerning overall volume
