AVANT-SAVANT
We are an eclectic band (trio or duo) which is difficult to catagorize.
Suppose you can call it Downtempo, but that's a bit of a stretch.
Muted Trumpet, Bass VI guitar, and drums (real or otherwise) is the main instrumentation - however that can change from time to time.
We are Minimalistic and Funky. Sometimes weird - always evolving, and improvisational.
Some fans find the sound highly addictive with the cool beats and stuff...

Yeh you guys need some more mp3's, this is a unusual sound, and as a jazz fan, the muted trumpet sound is very rare, and the bizarre compositions, is just what todays music scene needs, definetly not the same old tired sh**, keep it rolling, todays music, even the jazz, keeps sounding the same, over and over again, how much pat metheny can you take? It's nice, but nice isn't nessarily inventive
