Aum Project
Aum Project is a psy.trance band with only one member, me. I usually make live acts and dj sets overall by Barcelona and surroundings where he lives.
He's one of the most active spanish psy-trance live acts nowadays.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?

His name is Germán Martínez. He's 25 years old. Aum Poject is a young talented artist from Barcelona. He started to produce electronic music at the age of 15 using "traker" style software and making tendences such as techno, house, drum'n'bass, ambient and any kind of electronic genre. Aum Project released his first projects under the label Rod's Music on Barcelona in the early 2000, he released this tracks with the nowadays unused name of Diskedelic, one of these tracks was produced with the spanish dj also from Barcelona, John C.Brave. Three years later, Germán released working with his friend Jordi Ruiz under Blanco y Negro Music a Gabber 12" EP called Dj.Treefulcker VS Dj. Pulse - Fucker Mother. Since then, Aum Project is fully working on psy-trance music and parties.
Germán was impressed by psy-trance music listening to it on a rave in 2000, then he decided to start to produce this new stuff and djing psy-trance on 2001. Aum Project joined Muskaria crew on 2003, on that year he made his first live act beside Nanuk (Tarragona), Bakers (Barcelona), Hashattack (Muskaria Crew, Barcelona), Gerardo D (Muskaria Crew, Argentina), Hands and the guest star Absolum (3dvision, France). He left Muskaria in august of 2007 and joined in Trykomadelik Crew. He spread very fast his stuff in a lot of parties indoor and outdoor in clubs like La Cova (the most famous psy-trance club in Spain), Cyberian Club (L'Hospitalet, Barcelona), Ya'sta (Madrid), Itzela (Oiartzun, Euskadi), Las Dalias (Ibiza), Habitat Techno Club (Esparraguera, Barcelona), BeGood Club (Barcelona) and Moscú (Aiguafreda, BCN). He has also played with Earthling (Spun Records, Ibiza), Pan Papason (Harmonia/Etnicanet, Greece), Smuhg (Mexico), Add Noise (Barcelona, Spain), Txema Pastor (Harmonia Rec, Ibiza), Etnica (Etnicanet, Ibiza), Poli (Spun Rec, USA), Altöm (Neurobiotic Rec, FRA), Sum Sindhu (Unlogic, Spain) and many more. The music from Aum Project is full-on trance. Some tracks could be most oriented morning and others are most night tracks, sometimes melodic, sometimes not. Aum Project loves to work on different feelings on each track he make, but always with his own style making music. His music is similar to the israelian full-on music, his inluenced by the stuff from the atists like Astrix, Alien Project, DNA, Atomic Pulse, Infected Mushroom, Psydrop and GMS. He always try to bring to the people an uplifting full-on trance, positive vibes and self-assured music to rock the dancefloor smiling and dancing over and over, but he avoid to fall on cheese music and either not too much underground music, too. He works also making partys with Trykomadelik Crew (deco, sound system, bar...) and he's working as a enginer, arranger and remixer on Sushi Records with his friends John Jacobsen (Sushi Music / Pacha,BCN) and Mikel Molina (Sushi, BCN) under the name "Kung Foo" making some interesting house projects. Germán is also working next to Dj Nanuk and Dj Bakers in a new psy-trance project called Ex-Gen. Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes, play live is, probably, one of the most beatiful things that i make in my life. When I play live I can forget anything that I could got in my mind. Don't care if are problems or not. To see the people dancing your stuff is the reason I make music. I want to see the people having fun with muy psy-trance stuff.
