I guess it started when I was like eleven or some shit, just writing alot. Originally wanted to be a novelist and started rhymin. A few heads told me I should take it serious. Never did, just rapped a lil here n there, until I started chillin with Mik.... He mustve recognized some potential somewhere bcuz a day or two later we were makin tracks n hittin concepts and topics. Somewhere I believe from mik the name Murder Media emmerged and we ran with that. Since then Ive just been growing and learning when we have the time. tending to aim for more serious topics that everyday people relate to. We definitely arent in anyway related to the monotonous garbage music is becoming, we have a story, we have a concept, we make a point...
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Two kids livin in the gutter, a broke ass nowhere town, and an urge to be heard, I guess we both have our stories, that are unique in there own way, but you could say we fall subject to the suburban trash catagory. Our rough and oddball pasts combine to create a different sound that may lack in tacky catchy phrases but is compensated for with our meaning and purpose.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Naw not yet, but hopefully in the future, just building my arsenal of songs right now.
Your musical influences
Day by day, thats my musical influence,life and its situations, but I definitely like to say atmosphere for his abitlity to steer clear of that club bumpin bullshit, and of course eminem for leading the way for us white guys and keeping hip hop fresh. Dre for being the pioneer that he is, and Mik for opening up the music scene for us rappers here in the field, and teaching me, and helping me become all I am and will be.
What equipment do you use?
Shit idk, a mic? a mixer? a cpu? thats about it, Mik handles most of that shit for me, and luckily he knows some sick guitarists.
