About Audra
Audra Green, the next rising star in hip hop, found a passion for music at an early age. Born in Washington, D.C., she and her family quickly moved to Virginia Beach, VA where she joined the church choir at the age of 5. From there, she continued to find comfort in music, imitating many of her musical influences, including Whitney Houston, Destiny's Child and Alicia Keys. At the age of 9, she was selected to perform in Virginia Beach's all-city chorus competition. For the next few years, Audra continued to become involved in city and county choruses.
Now a resident of Richmond, VA, Audra is more fascinated by music than ever before. Be it hip hop, R&B, gospel or even poetry, the singer/rapper has had a hand in it. She's even begun to write and produce. "I have always wanted to influence others. I hope to impact people the most through performing." It's all uphill for this triple threat. Be it on stage or behind the scenes, Audra Green's star is clearly on the rise. Catch it as it shoots toward the top.
