Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Auditory Underground is a musical fusion experience combining as many musical elements as possible, delivered by Khari Wynn (Guitar) and Gebre Waddell (Bass, Keyboard and Production), the group's only permanent fixtures. On the debut album, Sonic Transfer, two guest musicians are featured: Jahleel Eli, cinematic composer for the movie "Drumline" (Drums on Apex and Del Faxon Star System) and Hope Clayburn, a very talented musician who has been featured alongside Widespread Panic (Flute on Apex).
Khari and Gebre began this collaborative effort in side projects such as Crashpattern and Inpulse as early as 1997. Khari Wynn's current other projects include touring and studio guitar for Public Enemy and leading a jazz fusion band named Solstice. Gebre Waddell's currently owns Inpulse Mastering (www.inpulsemastering.com) and does freelance recording and engineering.
