Atomic Veterans

We are the sons of the pioneers of the atomic age...we come to make noise. We are currently dormant. Watch this space...it does tricks
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
formed in 1943...you know the rest
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
we last played live around a decade ago, we had some great gigs, got the girls (and guys)dancing @ Die Maschine (Collective Cabaret), The Spectrum (Pyramid), West End Cultural Centre, The Junkyard (gone), and Blue Note Cafe (also gone)....mostly in and around the heart of downtown Winnipeg! WECC circa 1996...we got them really dancing...unfortunately no tape exists of that show (far as we know) - anyone?
Your musical influences
early Pink Floyd, Reggae, Neil Young, funk, psychedelia, garage rock, rockabilly, Free Jazz
What equipment do you use?
(hamish) one powerful traynor bass amp with a kramer striker 4 string bass; (jack) cheap guitars thru fender amps; (mike) harmonica and vocals/spoken word; various drummers (Barry Gibson, Greg Hanec, Kenny Morin, but mainly the late Brian Corrin)
Anything else?
Atomic power is a gift - use it wisely Peace to all, stop fighting Death to terrorism
