Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
A. T. Blaq has had a relationship with the microphone since age three, singing in church, giving stand up comedy acts in front of anyone who would listen and playing instruments (mainly percussion which consisted of anything that would make a sound when you hit it). His love for music developed into a deep rooted talent bringing forth the first fruits of the Hip-Hop legacy known as the God Vibe.
Saved in May of 1987, Gods gift had reached the age of cultivation, which would continue for six years to develop A. T. into a Christian Hip-Hop Artist named Bro-T. In 1993, A. T. attended services at New Life Christian Center and made his first appearance as Bro-T in the small world of God Vibe Hip-Hop at Hartman Junior High School in Houston, Texas. He would go on to perform as T-Phat at various concerts that presented such Artists as Sound Doctrine, E-Roc, Ghetto Prophet, Fred Lynch (formerly of PID), Gods Property, Kirk Franklin and the Family, Jesus and Tha Hip-Hop Gangstaz, Dooney and many more.
A. T. has had the priviledge of being a member of the Hip-Hop groups, Praisilistic Soulz and Thurd Liffe. Later he would go on to re-introduce himself to the industry, performing under the pseudonym, Nyn Sublym. His journeys as a performing Artist carried him to such events as Rhema's Shake Dallas, Young Warriors and The U.S. Olympics as well as performing in outreach events with The Potter's House Evangelism 2000 Team.
Now, A. T. Blaq Brings his raw talent, ambition for the God Vibe, and unmatched lyrical skill to you through a heart of goodness, a love for Hip-Hop and most of all, a fear of God. Are you willing to lay it down?
