A-tak

In the fall of 2005, A-tak met Kapp and joined up with Addiktz Records. Then A-tak released his first album in 2006 titled Insubordinate. A-tak managed to sell close to 100 copies of the CD. He was going steady by that point and performed at the schools talent show with Kashar. The crowd went crazy for their performance. A-tak released another album in April of 2007 titled Commercial Break. This one was sold not only locally, but in Los Angeles and WY. Addiktz Records hype was getting bigger and bigger and eventually hit the 100,000 plays mark on SC. A-tak was on a roll as well. By June of 2007 he already had another 10 songs ready for his next album. He ended up doing a competition and didnt even place. This killed him because he felt as if he worked so hard. A-tak kept pushing. He was going to again perform at the talent show; this time equipped with CDs to sell. The new album titled The Struggles of a Writer was done professionally. Kashar was supposed to perform with A-tak but couldn't. A-tak had to learn the routine by himself. He killed it and sold almost 50 Cd's. Life eventually got to him and he stopped rapping. However, after a nearly three years hiatus, A-tak is coming back and plans to release a new album by the end of 2010. He is always looking for new artists to work with so hit him up and he'll work with you. A-tak28@hotmail.com. Addiktz Records for life.
