A Seven-Thirty Experience
Seven-Thirty is two member hip-hop act composed of twin brothers. The groups represents South Carolina and plans to be the first group to put South Carolina on the hip-hop map. Originally, the twins relocated to Carolina after spending The first 11 years of their lives in New York City were they saw first hand the careers of Run-Dmc and De La Soul take off into legendary hip-hop status. From the time they were 10, the boys were writing close to three songs a day. The twins would take the next 10 years to practice their craft. It was at South Carolina State University that the twins linked up with a crew called IAM Productions led by producer Sam Syllable and his team C.Y.P.H.A. where they would master the art of recording vocals. After college the, duo met up with hometown heroes of production, Link and T-blenda who would form the production outfit RazorBlade Productions. This Crew would grow to include along with Link and T-Blenda, Shawn Diznon, M.I.C, and Seven-Thirty's own Delimma. RazorBlade Productions orchestrates the soulful musical landscape that Seven-Thirty rhymes over. They will be a major production crew once the right ears hear them. Together they vowed to get their own label off of the ground and named it Crown Records. Seven-Thirty wants to bring change to the hip-hop game. They want to bring it back to the times where an mc was judged on the contents of their music and not how much money they may have or how many units they sold. They are the Future.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
A Seven-Thirty Experience was assembled 13 years ago when the brothers made a pact to go hard at this rap game or quit. They have decided to grind on and the proof is in the music.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Seven Thirty plays mainly in South Carolina at local hip hop clubs. They are known to rock with in house DJ, T-Blendz, their seven piece band and back-up singers, Chuuuurch, or both.(Check out the band vs. DJ battle if you ever see them live)
Your musical influences
This group is inspired by all of the hip hop groups of yesterday and today who continuously represent real hip-hop. Those include: Run-Dmc, Boot camp click, EPMD, Native Tongue movement(ATCQ, DE LA, Jungle bros.) Mobb Deep, Public Enemy, DITC, BlackStar, Roots, Fugees, Eric B. & Rakim, to name a few

Contact us for the albums. Seven-Thirty is in the process of recording their third album, which is a double disc with each member holding down their own disc called "S.O.A.P./Soul Soundtrack." The Second album is called "Freedom" and their first album is called "Mason Dixon Diction"
