A Sense Of Belonging
A Sense Of Belonging is one band you'll be hearing about come 2004. ASOB is a unique new band based out of South Jersey. Redefining the true meaning of emotional rock into their own special blend, they've managed to come such a long way. Since the release of their full length, "The Definition of a Photograph", they've been playing massive amounts of shows and working on their newest cd, "The Homesick & Hurt ep" (due out May/June '04). With their audience's walking away very pleased from their live performances, they have grown enough musically to be able to take on the world. After so many accomplishments in such a short while, they won't be satisfied until they go all the way. With their heartfelt lyrics and melodies and aggresive yet catchy new style, they'll be sure to give everyone the sound their looking for.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
ASOB originates from Williamstown, NJ in which case it's almost impossible to spread music throughout others. ASOB started out as "With A Passion" with a different drummer and a different bassist. After the two left Dan, John & Steve began playing acoustic as "None the Less" and recorded a demo titled the "Before We Got Hard EP". Our new drummer Joe and a good friend of ours Greg joined and "None the Less" pursued practicing for shows. Greg later left (on good terms) and our current bassist Nik joined (former drummer of a band named "The Exclusives")and completed what we now know as "A Sense Of Belonging". ASOB then released a 3 song demo titled the "Your Night's Ruined EP" in the summer of 2002, a full-length titled "The Definition of a Photograph" in the fall of 2003 and are currently working on releasing 5-7 song EP titled the "Homesick & Hurt EP". So keep your eyes pealed because ASOB will be touring this summer in your area.
