baroquen baroquen
if it ain't baroque, don't fix it. but this has roots in that style. set to a techno beat, meant to be looped. i wrote the original notes when i was immensely irritated XD and then turned it into this techno version when i was no longer irritated.
froggery froggery
reminds me of 1980s computers. hence the 'froggery' thing. =D meant to be looped.
hypnotic summer rain hypnotic summer rain
the sounds and smells of warm rain on a dark, overcast evening in early june.
acceptance of the flesh acceptance of the flesh
I JUST improvised this. Strictly piano, nothing else.. it's probably my favourite thing I've improv'd in months. I'm excited.
brasilia brasilia
the title has nothing to do with the piece. it's got a lot of modified bell sounds and rich chords.. dark and ambient, smooth and very creepy. listen for yourself ;)
depths of stagnation depths of stagnation
Dark, ambient electronica piece using a lot of drones and strange, echoing sounds.. reverb is whored out here. :P Watch out, 1:07 might surprise you a bit.. so go pee first! XD (It's not TOO sudden, don't worry.) Best listened to with headphones.
step softly step softly
a quiet, ethereal piece.. it has a main theme that recurs throughout in different manifestations. the beat was taken from something a friend and i did a while back and modified a good deal for this composition.
mad hatter mad hatter
kind of an avant-garde dancey technoey-type thing. it has nothing to do with the mad hatter except that it made me think of him for some reason, and thus i sort of surreptitiously quoted 'a very merry unbirthday' in it somewhere.
TFTB - allison's darkest moment demo TFTB - allison's darkest moment demo
Dark, ambient, theatrical music; it's part of an electronic symphony I'm writing. It uses FL Studio, specifically the plugins Sytrus and Absynth4, and includes a number of sound clips.
preying on the deepest thoughts preying on the deepest thoughts
it's a bit creepy. and that's how i like it.
forgiveness forgiveness
piano instrumental, more predominantly major than most of the things i write.
absolute zero core absolute zero core
it's kinda trippy. really trippy, actually. i guess. XD
the clock is indifferent the clock is indifferent
FL project in minor, a but more upbeat. slightly.
all good things come to a close all good things come to a close
yet another piano improv.. it's a very slow piece in g major. yeah.. i chose a major key for a sad song..
the unwilling resurrection the unwilling resurrection
i plan to write a whole series of songs based around this concept. this is the intro and part I of the series. not sure how many songs will be connected to this, we'll see as the idea develops.
