This piece describes and is inspired by the journey of one of my first muses (circa 1975!). The sentiment here is channeled through Joni Mitchell-like chord voicings, which would have been very close to my heart at that young age (and still are!).

The "user" interfaces with the "muse" and attempts to write a piece of music with one note. But the devil-may-care muse wants nothing more than to hit the town for a wild night of rave dancing. The forces defy one another. Do they combine in the end?

A snappy drum beat is the vehicle for a playful piano, which dances under a volume pedal-effect guitar ala Ry Cooder providing the melody which later meets up with what I call the 'Zappa' melody.

Predator Predator
Driving, hypnotic groove. Dark, breathy synth voices over a punchy drum beat with lots of percussion subtleties, joined by some nice 'Jazz-meets-Tori Amos' piano stylings. I was a victim of the predator who inspired this piece.
