My 'band' in SoundClick terminology is actually myself, supported by a PC-based home studio, details of which are given below. I write, play, sing, record, edit, mix, master...the whole lot!
Band/artist history
I have been listening to playing music for as long as I can remember. I was subjected to classical piano lessons when I was around 9, but even that didn't put me off (although I gave up the lessons as soon as I could). In all other respects I am entirely self-taught. Although I have always had fragments of songs, I produced my first finished piece in 2007 (Don't get caught) and have been trying to make up for lost time ever since.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Yes/ Bars, restaurants, civic events, charity events.../ of course / every gig is different, and they each have their moments!

Oh yes and 1 neat device I should tell ou about. A mic stand which clips on to a flat surface and behaves as if it were an angle-poised lamp. Plectrums: Are you kidding? Final comment: I believe in getting the best from the gear I've got rather than always looking to upgrade. I already spend too much time tinkering around and not enough time actually making music.
Anything else?
One guy, three guitars, a keyboard, a home studio and some 50 years of listening to pop music. Thanks to all those who have offered a helping hand, and by that I mean primarily the good folk on the members' forums at PG Music and Audacity. Oh, and of course SoundClick for giving me this home on the www.
