Exploring soundscapes and textures in creating music.
Studied classical guitar at college while still in high school, finished high school and took a year of college and knew it wasn't for me. Became a "professional" musician at age 19. I learned that being a "professional" musician means being broke, dealing with club owners that don't like to pay and being "married" to four other "professionals". Don't get me wrong, The good times damn sure outweighted the bad. My band REIGN opened for Yngwie Malmsteen, Jake.E Lee,David Lee Roth among others and got to see alot of great bands/places as well. I was off and on the road for seven years with the following bands: Asylum,Reign,Branch Quartet,Jabladav. Life MUCH simpler now, super-happily married for seven years to my best friend and worst critic( she "loves" death-metal vocals) and I have a great job that allows me to buy the equipment to play the music I always wanted to play. Always open to writing with other musicians. Thanks for reading and take care-J
