I started playing out around Los Angeles at 15 as a solo acoustic artist, when I played The 1st & 2nd Annual Accept & Respect Festival in Los Angeles. By age 16, I was playing on The Sunset Strip and in various Los Angeles clubs such as The Rainbow, The Cat Club, 14 Below, The UnUrban, and The Masquers Cabaret as a solo acoustic artist.
I wrote Dont Let Me Go later that year (2003) with Reana Gallardo. The song was released almost a year later, when I had just turned 17. A very spare recording I did of just guitar and vocals went to #1 on the Soundclick (www.soundclick.com) Acoustic Vocals Charts after only 7 days online, and the song remained there for 5 months straight. Several press articles followed Two by Joe Barracato (New York Post, The Industry Resource), and The Tolucan Times locally. I gained a lot of international fans from more than 65 countries through SoundClick.
By May 2006, I was asked to include 4 of my song ringtones on John Doffings Start Mobile Network, and I performed at the launch after party at Club Otis, in San Francisco. A month later, I formed The Amber Rose Band, and I moved on to larger venues at The Roxy, The Key Club on the Sunset Strip, and at The Tangier in Los Feliz.
My song, "Don't Let Me Go" is on The Best of Sound Aid CD is for sale on CD Baby.

My PAST influences are Beth Hart, Alannis Morrisette, Ani DiFranco, Tori Amos, Melissa Etheridge, 3rd Eye Blind, ColdPlay, Anita Coats, Shirley Manson, Lisa Loeb, Fiona Apple ... I also used to listen to a lot of Nirvana, Murmurs, The Fray, Radiohead, Sublime, A Perfect Circle, Stone Temple Pilots, Jefferson Airplane, The Used, Gin Blossoms. TOOL Band is awesome and The Foo Fighters also are another favorite.What equipment do you use?
My Daisy Rock Guitar Venus, whatever acoustic guitar is handy and my voice.
