Band/artist history
Eye In Me is a three-peice punk band out of the small town of Wallaceburg, Ontario, Canada. In November of 2002, guitarist Matt Glover, bassist Patrick Richardson, and drummer Kurt Dickson, decided that they would finally have their first, very anticipated practise. Right away the three of them knew this is what they wanted to do. For the next 6 months, the band practised their asses off, and were at the point where they wanted to start writing their own material. After a few minor adjustments and finally coming up with the name Hiatus, the band found the fast, heavy, melodic, sound and style they were looking for. When they realized how much more they liked making their own material, the band wrote a few more songs, made a few phone calls and were ready to record. Under the name Hiatus, the band released their debut cd entitled Play Ball, on September 9th, 2003. In October of 2003, the band encountered a few problems with their name. It was discovered that there was already another band with the name Hiatus. Instead of causing trouble and not wanting the same name as another band out there, Hiatus decided they should think of a new name. It was then that Eye In Me was born. With plans of playing shows all over southern Ontario and spreading word of their band amongst the local scene, Eye In Me is hard at work looking for shows.
