Tim Donovan is a UK based composer working in a wide range of genres. His pieces are receiving regular airplay on a worldwide basis in the television, film, radio, advertising and audiovisual industries. UK television broadcasts featuring his tracks include GMTV, This Morning, DIY SOS, Art Attack, Blue Murder, etc.
Tim is also the owner of T.D. Samples, a sound design company creating musical instrument software for use in computer-based audio productions. Users of his products include Medwyn Goodall (New Age music legend), Bruce Fowler (orchestrator - Batman v Superman / Spiderman 2), Paul Mirkovich (musical director - The Voice U.S. / Keyboards - Pink), Dominik Scherrer (composer - Ripper Street / Primeval) and Hal Lindes (guitarist - Dire Straits).
In 1998, Tim embarked on a personal project writing a tranquil collection of haunting themes inspired by nature. 'Stormclouds' won Best Instrumental Track in the annual chilloutaddict.com awards 2006. Released under the name Ammadawn, these vintage tracks are available as a free download.
