Band/artist history
The "Dub Story" so far ; having escaped from the modern "the modern day mental and political plantation and become Run Away Slaves Neto Meeks, The Mighty Ginsu, and Ra Takura, with their former captives hot on their heels, travelled through "the Valley of desicion", before ascending to the mountains of St. Mary, formerly home of their illustruous warrior ancestors, Tacky and Boukman. After regaining their strength by eating some good "Jamaican Food", the R.A.S. used the principle of "Each one teach one" and begun to study and reason about their "Glorious Past". This brought them to the conlusion that they would have to take "the Struggle " to another level and so they renamed themselves; the Rawyal Afrikan SoulJahs. Now armed with "the Plan" to resist the "New World Order", the R.A.S., like Tacky before them began to take their message of liberation into the cities , ''Cruisin up the Waltham", and going "Back to Molynes". All this time they were "IN Search OF" the truth while letting their people know, the system is a "Slave Ship". Coming face to face with the reality of the "Conspiracy'; Neto Meeks gave his "Testiment" and shed "Everyone's tears" while being reminded by Ginsu, "Neva Give Up". Ras Takura who always hailed the "Black Woman", and warned of "Her Majesty's Prison" feeling the effects of being under pressure in the "WarZone", decided it would be better for him to go solo and fight the "Food War''. Left with the options "Rise or Die", Neto and Ginsu staying true the R.A.S., motto "got to be brave/never be a slave'', have taken a stand in "Jamaica,Jamaica". The Mission "Lock de city"/free the world with music. While proudly admitting "I'm Just A R.A.S.", Rawyal Afrikan SoulJahs pledge to "Grow". Indeed, for "The Victory" is coming soon. The "Quest" continues... Rawyal Afrikan SoulJahs.
