J Fields was destined to be a star in the entertainment industry. He always had a passion for good music when he was younger, and vowed that he would make music when he grew up. Fields grew up on Detroit's Southwest side where he was no stranger to drugs and violence, but you wouldn't know that from listening to his music. He says that although life for him was rough at times, he's never thrown the towel in or given up, he just took the punches and kept on rolling. He represents something positive for our young people of today, he represents entrepreneurship and CHANGE! Change in a sense of the way the youth thinks, lives, and a change from the norm. Fields states that you don't have to fit in to be cool, being yourself is the coolest thing you could do. After receiving a few rejection letters and low ball offers from the major recording labels out there, Fields didn't quit, he started his own recording label. Black Polarbare Entertainment is the name and this kid means business. He relocated to Los Angeles, CA to chase his dreams full throttle and just recently finished up his newest industry demo, and is currently recording tracks for his debut album slated to drop sometime next summer. Black Polarbare Entertainment is way more than just music, its a lifestyle, to Fields, it is life. He wants to someday make and direct movies, he also mentioned the "Its Fields Foundation" that he's trying to build for inner city children to keep them out of trouble. The list goes on and on for what this young man wants to accomplish before his life is done, and he is truly a remarkable human being, one worth getting to know. Change is what he represents, and if he stays on the path he's on now, change is what we'll see. When asked why he does this music, he smiled and said "I do it for my family."
