Born December 10th 1987 in Las Vegas NV Jay Dixon was the 1st of six to be born. Always being stucc to the music scene, he never really saw Himself as an artist. Until around the age of 12 when his grandfather Entered him into a local talent show. He wrote his first song 4 the show but did not meet the deadline. That is where it all started. He practiced for 3 more years before he decided to come out for anther go. After going at it by his self for a year he the teamed up with two close friends to form TRIPPLE THRET. Later they tried to start a label KILLA SQUAD. After a fall out between them this quickly fell apart.
In the summer of 2007 the process of starting Blvd Ent. Began. Jay Bliizz & Nitty are set on making there mark in this game. Blizz has accepted the fact that he will not be respected by the majority of raps fan base. He has decided to take what he calls the flood approach. He feels that if they flood the streets with their music you’ll have to admit they’re here to stay. Over the last two year there has been a number of projects that have been started but not finished. The anticipation for his release has died down do to all of the recent waits and push baxx. Mixed signals have been one of the main issues behind his latest work. His new project SUICDE NOTE has caused the most controversy. It seems to be that the title has lead everyone to believe that he has plans on killing his self.
BLVD ENT. Off top they chose to make a mark in the local game by attaccing and airing out the other Vegas rapper this created tension between BLVD ENT. and everyone else. Blizz stated (They might not like us but now they know we not playing we here to take over I been beefing with niggas from day one this shit ain't new). With his state off mind where money is everything he is determined to put Vegas on the map and shut it down. When ask if he really thought they could really over Vegas he said who gone stop us. Even though it has taken them time and money they have reach the point where they feel untouchable now the real question is, is the rap game ready 4 what they have
Blizz had this to say,
“Everyone who knows and follows my work knows the last few years have been hell for me. I’ve been suffering from depression and stress. My dudes are dying the ones who aren’t are snitching or locced up. My affiliation with gangs never came bacc to bite me. I was able run wit a certain crew of people with putting myself and my family in danger. Although I was not directly affected I have seen things heard things and lost people because of the decision they made. Because of this my mind and heart has caused me to think the way I do which in turn leads me to make the music I do. The reason we get upset with other artist is because they run around here saying they play in these streets.
This isn’t a game people on a everyday basis while you talk about the money and reputation that come with it but they forget to tell you about the pain behind it. Though I lost sum of my niggas that were my brothers I have been luccy enough not to lose my blood brothers and I pray they will never see what I haveâ€.
I the state that hip-hop is in i really don't think the world is ready for us on one ever came at the game with this angel before, at least not in the Veg all this commercial music has started to producing commercial people I find it amazing how music can change a person weather your a fan or an artist it has some type of effect on how we act if you listen to real shit you get real vibe if you bump fake shit you get fake vibes the only reason nwhy there is commercial music is because we now have artist that have nothing to say they haven't been through anything so they make up some dumb shit just get by YA DIGG.
Though he is part of a large family, he just recently found A connection within it. Things have been far from easy For Blizz and it looks like its gonna be a while before his mind is a the point where he wants it. Stay tuned to c how it goes.
After releasing many online mixtapes he has put effort into his what is said to be his best project yet Suicide Note. The tile is stating that after years of the life of Lies and Pain he is ready to leave his old life behind But will he??
