I'm is a solo singer/guitarist (who resorts of other instruments as well for recordings, even if she's not very good at it) from a small town in Connecticut. Working solo right now, I've been mostly just writing and learning about recording using my computer and some of my dad's equipment. I was in a band and would eventually like to be in another one again, but for now, I'm just playing my acoustic guitar and writing songs.
So many. I have been inspired by female artists (from rock to indie to folk to alternative), for instance: Veruca Salt, Garbage, Kay Hanley and Letters to Cleo, Tracy Bonham, Sleater-Kinney, Mary Prankster, and many more. Other bands I adore and have been inspired by are the Pixies, Sonic Youth, Stroke 9, The Dandy Warhols, too many to name all of them. So what do I sound like? Well none of the above, really. I sound like me, and I can't describe it any better than that.
