Craig Manganello is a singer/song writer that has made the move from being a backing member, vocalist and guitarist, to his own solo project. His brand of original music stems from his ability to always help create the best sounds found in his home area of Long Island, New York. He has been constantly asked, when appearing with other bands, when he will be fronting his own project and creating an album of his own material, well that time is upon us.
While completing his debut album his single, “When It All Comes Back Around” has been released. This CD-Single also includes two other tracks, a ballad, “Until Then” and an up beat song called “Like A Man”. All three songs will also appear on the completed album. The CD is available at his live shows and through his web site www.CraigManganello.com.

Your musical influences
Two of my favorite songwriters is Julian Lennon and Peter Hemilman. Julians album, "Photograph Smile" is genius. Peter Hemilman, although not well known, is a very inspiring songwriter.What equipment do you use?
I currently record all my material in my home studio where I'm running ProTools LE with Digi-001. I also have about 6 guitars, a bass and mandolin. Also in my studio I have a midi-drum kit which comes in real handy. I lay down my basic tracks and then I have drummer friends come in and I record the midi drums and then play around with the sound of them later.Anything else?

who is this guy manganello? the expression 'diamond in the rough' doesn't apply because he's got fully develped chops. great, full-throated, high octance rock music with a poignant message.
I too am interested in all kinds of music. I mean ALL, as long as the artist(s) are good at what they do. I know Craig's music for the past three or four years. He's a creative songwriter, a good "hook" developer, and an excellent producer. I was listening to some of his stuff that has a sound and feel of the southern rock group, the "Outlaws." Some of his recent stuff is more ballad style, but he always has the ability to rock out in all his compositions.
Anyone in the Long Island area looking to have a well-produced recording knows he's the one to see.
