Hi,
This is song writing for fun and to enjoy the ability to make music just to make music.
I was exposed to the back of a Martin guitar in utero. I picked up my first instrument when I was 19 and haven't put it down since.
Coffey Shops here and there. I mostly like to sit on benches in parks although I can be found on piers and beaches in the summer.
Bruce Lee... He Didn't play any instruments that I know of, but he developed this philosophy of universal incorporation that allowed for a fighter to take from all styles and make them a part of his/her art. I suck at martial arts, but as an artist in music, I saw the wisdom and beauty in this idea of universality. A bassist thinks diffrently from a guitarest and a keyboard player will scratch their head when confronted with a hammerd dulcimer. (Of course, the key person will sample it, but they won't really get it!) By studying all forms of music I can pick and choose and implement my song in ways that best suit their meaning and projection of feeling.
Why not Heavy Metal mandolins in a dance song. How 'bout a rennasance' alto recorder over a mellow Jazz track. Or placing a delayed bass behind a slow air or folk song?

No sucky song promise. Not every one likes everything and that can't be helped. However, a general consensus can be reached. Before a song goes up it has to pass a twenty person suck test if it averages less than 80% I put the song in the garbage.
