Is there a rule that says a band requires more than one musician? No, there is nothing in the rule book that states this. AOUR, for that matter is a one man band and sounds like an entire orchestra with an attitude.
AOUR started about 6 years ago. After dealing with other band members from former bands, he decided to go out on his own.
His music is full of life and vitality and that beat makes you want to dance the night away. It reminds me of old time disco music but with an edge. Great for clubs, partys and a lot more. You can?t be depressed listening to his music.
His new single, ?Sacrifice?, is off of a new CD that hasn?t been released yet. But just listen to that beat. Electro, new wave, new rave hot dance music meets Studio 54. Wow!
It?s all in the beat. That?s what makes you move. The beat and the synthesizer seems to be typical to his style.
His songs have been released digitally already.
But this is not all in regards to his accomplishments. He has license for a series Live Classical Concerts in the U.S. 2006-2007 and also had a publisher in New York City put him in the catalogue (audio sound foundation). Of course when it comes to licensing AOUR?s music, talk to the people at A & R Select. This is one of their fields of expertise.
There are shows planned for this summer in northern California. For information on where and when, go to www.arselect.com.
?I really do like the music I am doing now and it will only get better in time. I would like to keep the door open to all kinds of styles. I would like to eventually work with other artists as well ? especially a good female vocalist. ?
Put on your dancing shoes before you listen to his music. Go to www.myspace.com/aoursite and dance the night away!
