Born and raised in southwest Michigan, I have a love of music, nature, and technology. I grew up singing in church and school choirs, ensembles, and show groups, often spending time with my adoptive grandfather, a local musician, learning about the music industry.
Ammie Harman, born as Ammie-Marie Roxanne Littke, was born on October 20, 1990 in Berrien Springs, Michigan to Donna Harman and Timothy Littke. Growing up as a child, Ammie would sing and dance around the house, and became a member of choir in kindergarten; she was a member until she graduated high school in 2008. In 2003, she was a member of an elite vocal group in St. Joseph, Michigan called the . Ammie mailed a few of her lyrics to companies to become exposed and get opinions; by the middle of her 8th grade year, she received a recording contract from New World Publishing. At the time, she was residing with her adoptive grandmother who thought she was too young to follow through. This only drove Ammie to strive for success, and seek for nothing but the very best.
During the summer of 2005, Ammie moved to Youngstown, Ohio with her biological mother, Donna Harman, in search of something more. She became involved in choir, vocal ensemble, and numerous clubs/organizations. During her senior year of high school, 17 year old Ammie became the first Student Board Representative for East High School in Youngstown, Ohio. By February 19, 2008, she reached a national level when she spoke at the Solutions for America Rally in Youngstown, Ohio at Chaney High School for , becoming the only minor in the history of the United States to speak at a presidential rally.
During her graduation year, she pursued a goal of change and excelled in her studies as well as her presence in the district; she is also one of the first graduates of Youngstown's East High School. She graduated with honors in the National Technical Honors Society, from East High School in June of 2008 with many accomplishments and awards as a student in Youngstown. I'm pretty normal, I guess. A lot of my friends seem to connect to my lyrics & poetry. I have enough in storage to reach out to anyone, that's for sure.
