Experimental Sounds

Medusa Panacea offers a wide range of digital sounds including Hip Hop, Metal, House, Ambient and "Neoclassic" symphonies. All of our songs are produced digitally using the (proprietary sadly, but excellent) FLstudio sequencer. We are two musicians from northern Michigan who are fascinated with the concept of pushing the boundaries of digital/sequenced music. If you would like the FLstudio sources for our music (subject to the CC-By-Nc license), please contact us. Unfortunately we can only share any free/custom samples we use, though we'd be happy to provide a list of vendors where you can purchase the sample packs that we use.
Band/artist history
We have been working on this project for many years. We are both fervent metal-heads who jam for fun in our basements, so when complex, digitally-created music started becoming more prevalent (in hip hop, techno, etc.) we were intrigued by the idea of using computers to create rich and unique sounds using many various styles. We were most interested in creating rock/metal and classical music. When we started there was very little available for creating impressive guitars, and classical instruments were cheesy at best, downright pathetic at worst. The situation has improved drastically in the years since, with the improvement of synthesizer models and sampling technology. Today we're quite happy with the sounds we've achieved in these realms, and we begin expanding outward toward new genres and musical experiences.
