I wanted to release an album that was poking fun at social media celebrities that thought they were recording artists and had no actual talent to back it up.
I thought that was an amusing challenge. I wanted to construct an album that would reflect that trend. Some of these songs are just ridiculous and over the top. I thought putting together a very low budget album was the way to poke fun at that while also becoming part of that culture as I was an online entertainer breaking into music.Have you performed in front of an audience?I've played live a few times. I could actually sing decently when I am not playing into a character like I was for this first album.
Your musical influences
There are so many.. Jewel was always a huge influence. I've met her a bunch of times and really love a lot of what she stands for.
Other influences were just by things I've heard and just things in daily life. Anyone with their own kind of unique styl INVALID I was always influenced by.
Someone who wasn't afraid to take risks or push the envelope I always liked. Someone like Madonna is amazing for that. Michael Jackson was another one.READ MORE
